As the Polish Car Recycling Forum Association FORS, we have the honour to invite you to the VI International FORS Conference: RECYCLING OF END-OF-LIFE VEHICLES IN THE COUNTRY AND IN THE WORLD, NEW ELV LAW IN EUROPE, on May 22nd – 23rd, 2025 to Warsaw city center at InterContinental Hotel – Emilii Plater street no 49.
For more than 25 years, the FORS Association has been working towards the development of the sector of recycling, education and mutual cooperation between the representatives of the industry. For years, FORS national and international conferences have been the venue for meetings, discussions, and exchange of views.
This year International Conference is going to be unique, because the new End-of-Life Vehicle Regulation is going to replace the current End-of-Life Vehicle Directive. The difference between regulation and directive is significant, because regulation doesn’t leave as much space as directive for freedom in its implementation. All the European Union Member States are going to have unified rules for End-of-Life Vehicle.
The VI FORS International Conference will create an incredible opportunity to meet legislators, industry experts, representatives of cars and parts trading market and specialists of the ELV recycling industry. We are going to discuss key issues related to end-of-life vehicles and the close future of the industry, which is going to be transformed significantly, after more than 20 years of functioning of the ELV Directive.
The ELV Regulation is going to have a great impact on each business connected to ELVs. We will discuss good practices in spare parts international trade, difficulties in electric vehicles recycling, vehicle battery management issues, transboundary movements of vehicles and parts as well as artificial intelligence in car recycling.
The conference will be accompanied by an exhibitor zone and a presentation of companies offering products and services dedicated to dismantling stations and the scrap industry.
